The venue is very popular having sole use of the facilities, a large matted area, private car park and very convenient location being just off junction 4 of the M40. There are a few hotels nearby, with the Holiday Inn being the most popular for those who stay overnight.
We are delighted to announce that Terumasa Hino sensei from Hombu dojo will be our guest instructor for the weekend. Hino sensei is a 5th dan Shidoin and is currently one of the teachers for the beginner’s classes at Hombu dojo.
The weekend will focus on key principles of Aikido, as such we urge all kyu grades to try their best to attend the course. You do not need to commit to training both days, one day would be fine. For the Yudansha, it’s a great opportunity to reaffirm your knowledge and perfect your technique.
You will be able to purchase tickets for the course through Eventbrite however, you will still be able to pay on the day. The online ticket process is an attempt to quicken the registration process in the morning and to hopefully be more convenient for you. Online ticket sales end at 21:00 on Saturday 17th March 2018.
You will receive an email confirmation for the purchase of your tickets. Please bring the confirmation with you to the course together with your proof of insurance. Showing the ticket confirmation via your smart phone will be fine.
The course is open to all Aikido practitioners of every style and association. The only thing we ask is that you are able to provide proof of valid insurance on the day.
