Our Mission

Our mission is to develop aikido in the UK to the highest quality by delivering the best teachers and training available within the United Kingdon. We do this by creating an open environment for people to join us, learn and develop their aikido to the level they want to achieve and ensuring the quality of what we achieve is the best. We maintain this direction with not-for-profit approach to maintain a focus on quality.

We make aikido accessible to anyone who wishes to study and provide a structure for our members to learn and grow to be the best they can.

If you are looking for a new focus in life, then Aikido could be for you. Aikido is a challenging martial art and offers the chance to stretch yourself both physically and mentally. This Aikido school has good training ethics and a friendly atmosphere with expert tuition from Adoni Pavlakis Sensei with regular visits from guest instructors. Also, there are opportunities to visit other schools for extra training sessions and courses.

I've trained under Shihan for over a year now, it's a welcoming friendly group. Being one of his female students I feel it gives me the control of my uki where I didn't have it at other dojo. Lots of weapons work.
