When you sign up to Aikido classes with us, you’ll become a member of the UKA. Developing our members and providing opportunity is at the heart of everything we do. As a member of the UKA we’ll give you access to:

Membership Type and Fees

There are two fees to join and take part in Aikido lessons with us.

1. Annual Fee

An annual fee to the UKA which covers your membership of the organisation, kyu gradings, subsidises events and provides liability insurance. This is payable by all members who choose to regularly practise at our club, after three visits. It has different levels for adults, juniors, and concessions.

2. Regular Fee

The regular fee to your club that covers local costs, payable to the club or instructor.

Apply or renew your membership online

Once you’ve found an Aikido class near you (see the Our Clubs page) and you’re ready to join the UKA, you can do so on Aikido Digital, our membership platform. It’s used for membership applications, renewals and tracking grades and qualifications of members. Your data is safe with us; please check out our privacy notice.
